Adventure Clubs

Take a break from the screen and get active!

Adventure Clubs gives kids a chance to spend time at camp after school weekly. Each day a different club will meet and kids will have the opportunity to learn a new skill or practice an old one.

September Adventure Clubs 

Monday: Gone Kayaking

Spend your afternoon paddlin’ around the Rhode River while learning and refining your kayaking skills. Enjoy games, paddling, and fun with a small group led by a Camp Letts staff member.

Tuesday: Sport-tastic

Kick, run, throw for fun in the sun! Camp Letts staff will teach games, encourage sportsmanship, and create an environment for healthy competition.

Thursday: Sail the Rhode

Our brand new Topaz Uno sailboats will be used to teach the basics of sailing. Sail into the sunset and enjoy all the Rhode River has to offer. There will be at least 2 participants per sailboat.

Friday: Paddler’s Paradise

Participants will get a varied experience each week rotating through our canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards. Our trained instructors will facilitate skills and activities for new adventures on the water weekly.

October Adventure Clubs 

Monday: Camp Sampler

Spend your weeks rotating through all your favorite camp activities; tie dye, fort building, archery, campfire cooking, s’mores and more! Enjoy all Camp Letts has to offer, while making new friends and spending time with old ones. Camp fun will be lead by a Camp Letts staff member every Monday afternoon.

Tuesday: Letts Climb 

Come climb, zip, belay and play every Tuesday on our high and low ropes adventure course. Camp Letts staff will lead kids through our different high and low ropes elements every week. Kids will have the chance to spend their afternoon up in the trees, learning new climbing techniques and zipping through the tree tops. Activity cost includes all safety equipment, kids will be required to wear closed toe and closed heel shoes.

Thursday: Paintball*

Challenge yourself on our paintball course and feel the thrill of the game. Kids will be divided up into teams to put their teamwork and strategic thinking to the test. Under the supervision of our trained staff and located within the natural setting of camp, kids are sure to have a blast. We provide all safety gear, equipment and paintballs, long sleeves, pants, and closed toe and closed heel shoes are recommended. Ages: 10-16; Price: $120 per 4 week session

Friday: Survival Skills 

During this adventurous program kids will learn how to survive in the woods using materials found only in the forest. Guided by a Camp Letts staff, kids will learn how to build shelters, start fires, identify plants and insects, the basics or orienteering and much more. This is the perfect opportunity for kids to explore the outdoors in a safe and supervised environment.

Groups sizes are no more than 12 kids.


Masks will be worn when indoors and/or when social distancing cannot be maintained while on land. Masks will not be required while participants are on/in the water due to safety concerns.


COVID-19 Safety Guidelines


The safety and health of our staff and participants are our top priority. Below is a list of current guidelines as outlined by the CDC, that Camp Letts staff and participants will be required to follow during all Adventure Clubs.


  • Each staff member and participant will be health screened upon their arrival to camp.
  • Masks must be worn indoors and when at least 6 feet of physical distance cannot be maintained.
  • Designated spaces will be assigned for each group to minimize exposure to others.
  • Shared spaces and activity equipment will be cleaned between groups.
  • Continual cleaning of high touch areas will occur throughout all our facilities.
  • Groups will not mix with other groups during the day.
